Fall 2012

Hi from Greg Webb RMT and Touch for Health Instructor
Hope you’re doing wonderfully!
Below is a list of classes I will be offering for Fall 2012, hope you can make it!

People who attend these classes gain valuable clinic and personal health care skills, experience personal growth and discovery. They learn about the human body, themselves and how easily very big positive changes can come about in their life, especially in overcoming pain or stress related issues.
The positive ripple effect out into family, friends and clients of those who take these classes is a privilege to be a part of and one of the biggest rewards of my life.

Since we all have our own circle of influence, please pass this information forward to anyone within your circle of influence you feel may find it of interest. Thanks in advance for that.

One of my favorite philosophies is “you never can tell whose life you may change for the better by sharing a little information”.
All classes are being held in Calgary but if you have a group of friends and wish to put together a class in your town we can discuss that. (Minimum 8 students please)

Tuition:     $195.00
The purpose of this workshop is to develop skill in working with 13 muscles which articulate the hip / thigh and to facilitate their increased function and performance. Stabilize pelvic imbalances, solve hip, low back, leg pain, pelvic discomfort, groin injuries and ease sciatic pain. Discomfort in the hips is common amongst massage clients, I have personally found these methods very effective at addressing what other methods do not reach, the ability of the muscle to work. Imbalances of muscular tension distort pelvic position and often are the reason for pain and tightness.

Make significant differences in recovery from knee and ankle injuries. Provide stability to these joints when chronically weakened by previous injuries. These theories are a key missing element in the rehabilitation of knee or ankle injuries. Get the muscles working first, then rehab, not the other way around!!

TMJ (Temporomandibular Joint) RESET

Sat. Nov. 26, 2011 9:30am – 1:30pm

Developed by Philip Rafferty of Australia
Have you ever had major dental work?  Braces? Since your jaw is open most of the time with dental work, your TMJ (Temperomandibular Joint) may be stressed from this experience.
Are your neck and shoulder muscles tight and tense?  If so, this may be an indication that you are under stress and your jaw muscles and TMJ may also be tight and tense. Do you have pain or problems moving your jaw?  This may show up as an imbalance from your TMJ.
Do you wish you could relax deeply held tension patterns?  By relaxing your TMJ and jaw muscles, which are key stress holding regions, it enables your body to relax.
All of these problems may be helped with RESET.
RESET is an easy to learn technique which allows your jaw muscles to relax without manipulation or pain.  This lets the TMJ rebalance itself and function normally.
RESET directs healing energy through the muscles, nerves, and ligaments in the Jaw to achieve a state of balance quickly and easily. No “inside the mouth work” is done and RESET can be used as easily on your self as on others.
This treatment has also been very helpful with learning disorders.
Date:         ½ day Saturday Fall 2012 TBA  9:30 am – 1:30 pm
Location:     Glamorgan Community Association, 4207 – 41 Avenue SW, Calgary Ab.
To register contact: Greg Webb 1-403-242-7647 or by email at gregandchris@shaw.ca
Tuition:     $90.00 includes course manual with easy to follow pictures

As a bonus for reading this far you get treated to a few little gems I’ve picked up over the years. They are a mix of things I’ve learned from people who have been influential in my life and a few personal philosophies. It’s always good to have an opportunity to reflect on how we are playing our own personal game of life. Enjoy.

  1. Always tell the truth, you are never stuck for an answer. (c/o my dad)
  2. Watch what you are watching for, it makes it appear more often! (Good or Bad)
  3. Perception is 9/10th’s of the law.
  4. Happiness is 9/10th’s perception.
  5. Your reality is only what you make it.
  6. You will always live up to your story.
  7. Life gives us the opportunity to re-write our story if we do not like our current circumstance.
  8. Idea minus action equals Zero
  9. Touch for Health balances can make any stressful situation much easier to deal with.
  10. Smiles are contagious.
